Volumes 2 & 3
Volume 2:
I accidentally bumped this cabinet and this framed picture fell and the glass in the frame broke. Mindy Grossberg asked if I’d get new glass this weekend and I said, “Sure” then headed out to the garage for my bike.
Our garage opens on University Boulevard and it’s not uncommon for trash to litter our driveway for a couple days before we notice it. We can’t see it from the house and don’t exit that way often.
So I open the garage door and notice some food scraps and other trash. I start to pick it up and notice a frame. There’s no picture in the frame but there is a piece of unbroken glass in it.
Guess what? It fit.
Volume 3:
Last night bopping around town I ended up in Nob Hill after dark with my bike. I had a headlamp, but it wasn’t very bright. A pedestrian at an intersection yelled, “You should get a bike light.”
This morning I’m walking in the Bosque on one of the many dirt trails when I come across a bike light.
It works.
